We are pleased to invite you to a special Soul Evening workshop led by Professor Afrim Blyta, neuropsychiatrist and positive psychotherapy trainer. This event will explore how trauma continues to shape our inner world and relationships—and how it can become a path to transformation.

About the Workshop:
Trauma is not just an event from the past. It lives on in the body, psyche, and relationships. It shapes our defense strategies, partner choices, and the depth of contact with ourselves and the world. But trauma also holds transformative potential—when space is created for awareness, safe contact, and integration.

We’ll explore the key phases and conditions that trigger the transformation process.

Traumatic experiences are rarely isolated. They’re often embedded in family history and passed down through generations. The genogram is a powerful tool to uncover these hidden dynamics. During the workshop, participants will learn how to use genograms to diagnose trauma and plan therapeutic work accordingly.

About the Speaker:
Prof. Dr. Afrim Blyta is a neuropsychiatrist, Professor of Neurology, Psychiatry, and Medical Psychology at the University Medical School of Pristina. He is President of the Kosovo Neurological Society, Head of the National Council of Neuroscience of Kosovo, and a Basic Trainer in Positive Psychotherapy. He is also a faculty member of the Center for Mind-Body Medicine (CMBM), Washington, D.C., and has worked with CMBM programs in Gaza, Israel, Haiti, the US, Central Asia, Poland, and Ukraine.
