WAPP Ethical Code in Practice – A Two-Part Workshop on Psychotherapy, Training, and Supervision

When: 1st of July 2025, 17:00-19:00 CEST
Languages: English with Bulgarian, Russian, Turkish and Ukrainian translation.
Zoom link will be provided soon.

This two-part workshop offers a reflective and practical space to engage deeply with the ethical foundations of psychotherapeutic work. Grounded in the WAPP Ethical Code, this workshop is designed for psychotherapists, supervisors, and trainers who wish to strengthen their ethical awareness.

Part 1 – Ethical Code in Practice:
In the first 90-minute session, we’ll work directly with key principles and quotes from the WAPP Ethical Code. Through case-based discussions and group reflection, we’ll examine how ethical theory translates into real-life dilemmas across clinical, training, and supervisory contexts. Participants will be invited to reflect on their own ethical positioning and explore common challenges in applying the code in nuanced situations.

Part 2 – Creating Informed Consent Contracts:
The second 90-minute session focuses on the practical application of ethical thinking through the development of Informed Consent Contracts (therapeutic contracts). Whether you’re working with clients, trainees, or supervisees, a clear and ethically sound contract is essential. Participants will be encouraged to draft or revise their own contracts, with space for feedback and collaborative learning.

Who is it for?
This workshop is open to Certified Positive Psychotherapists, supervisors, and trainers who are interested in grounding their work more firmly in ethical practice.
