This professional dialogue will explore how psychotherapists perceive and engage with the spiritual dimension in their practice. Topics will include:

How we recognize and experience the presence of the spiritual dimension in therapy
Understanding the meanings of “soul” and “spirit” across different languages and traditions
Distinguishing between spirituality and morality
The unique position of the psychotherapist in contact with the spiritual dimension
Meta-skills required to work effectively with this level of experience

Volodymyr Karikash, Ph.D. is a co-founder of the Ukrainian Institute of Positive Cross-ultural Psychotherapy and Management, psychotherapist registered in national and international associations (USP, UAPP, WAPP, EAP), WAPP Master Trainer and Supervisor, and Honorary Member of the World Association for Positive and Transcultural Psychotherapy.
